Study Guide Videos – Full Version

As filmmakers, we set out to make a documentary that we hoped would not only entertain audiences, but also jump-start critical conversations. To that end, we understood that Defining Hope would be a more valuable tool for educators if broken up into chapters or vignettes. We are pleased to be able to offer video scenes** from Defining Hope below, with accompanying discussion guides. This educational material has been thoughtfully created by the American Nurses Foundation and D. Mager, DNP, RN-BC, Associate Professor of Nursing, Fairfield University, for the American Nurses Foundation, with funding from the
Rita and Alex Hillman Foundation.

**Please note that these video vignettes are intended for face-to-face classroom use to accompany the PDF written discussion guides. To view the full Defining Hope film, classroom and community screening licenses, public performance rights, and digital site licenses are available through Kino Lorber.
